Thesis charter and ethics

The thesis charter defines the framework in which the Phd studies will take place. It is common to all 7 graduate schools. It is a moral contract depicting the preparation of your thesis, objectives and resources.

This thesis charter accompanies the enrollment in the first year of any PhD student at the University of Lille and will be signed by the PhD student, her/his supervisor, the director of the host laboratory, the director of the doctoral school and the University.

In accordance with the decree of 25 May 2016 setting the national training framework and the procedures leading to the award of a PhD degree, "the graduate schools ensure that each PhD student receives training in the ethics of research and scientific integrity ", the Doctoral College Lille Nord France and the seven graduate schools regularly offer courses and conferences related to ethics and scientific integrity.

The Doctoral College's catalog includes, for example, courses on the ethics of higher education teachers, on the improvement of the chances of being published, on the visibility of its scientific production or on the management of its research data.
