Each year, the University of Lille Observatory for Higher Education (ODIF) interviews PhDs who have completed their thesis at 1 month, 1 year, 3 years and 5 years and publishes the results of its survey. The last results are here.

* Data on the origin of graduate PhDs are calculated from information collected by survey questionnaires. For the 2012 and 2013 promotions, the source is based on a question about the "diploma that made it possible to enroll in PhD studies". In the 2014 survey, it is a question about the country in which the graduate PhD was located 1 year before her/his first registration.
